Certified Bookkeeper
This program prepares participants to sit for two two-hour national
certification exams offered by the American Institute of Professional
Bookkeepers. By successfully passing tests in six subjects, signing a
code of ethics demonstrating having performed bookkeeping and/or accounting
duties (i.e. budgeting, tax preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable,
payroll, bank reconciliation, etc.) you will earn the right to put the
distinctive letters CB after your name. Some key learning topics
include: adjusting entries; correction of accounting errors; tax
depreciation; payroll; costing inventory; and internal controls.

Certificate in Certified Medical Assistant
This program prepares participants for employment as Medical Assistants and
to sit for the National Health-career Association certification exam.
Students complete coursework in anatomy, medical terminology, clinical lab,
pharmacology, etc. They also complete a 160 hour internship at a medical
facility. Students successfully completing this program may opt to roll over
credit received into the credit degree program up to 23 credit hours.
